January 26 2012
MedExpress Urgent Care, a leader in providing full-service,
walk-in urgent care, opened its first center in Virginia today at
4003B College Avenue in Bluefield. It is the 76th center
across five states for MedExpress, which also operates centers in
Colorado, Florida, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. In celebration
of the opening, MedExpress will offer free flu shots, while
supplies last, to all patients who visit the Bluefield center
during its first week, January 26 - February 1.
MedExpress is a full-service, walk-in urgent care center,
offering treatment for everyday illness and injury to people of all
ages. There is always a physician on site, supported by a full
medical team. MedExpress is dedicated to providing patients with
the highest level of quality health care in a warm and welcoming
environment.
"We look forward to introducing the people of Virginia to
MedExpress and all that we have to offer. Opening our first center
here is a proud moment for us and we couldn't be more excited to do
it right here in Bluefield," said MedExpress CEO, Frank Alderman,
MD. "When we opened our first center 10 years ago, our goal at
MedExpress was to exceed patient expectations by providing
high-quality, affordable health care in a timely fashion. We
deliver on that vision every day and that will never change."
MedExpress Urgent Care's dedication to its patients' well-being
extends beyond the in-center experience. MedExpress strives to
streamline care within its local medical communities to ensure
high-quality patient outcomes.
The Bluefield MedExpress will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.,
seven days a week. Several more centers are planned for
2012.
