MedExpress Opens Urgent Care Center in Butler
July 1 2010
MedExpress Urgent Care, Pittsburgh's patient-centered urgent
care provider, opened its newest center today in Butler. MedExpress
now operates 17 urgent care centers in western Pennsylvania and
more than 40 centers nationwide.
Like every MedExpress in Pennsylvania, the Butler center, which
is located on 256 New Castle Road, is open seven days a week, 9
a.m. to 9 p.m. MedExpress Urgent Care is a full-service, walk-in
health care clinic offering medical treatment to all ages for
illness and injury. There is always a physician on duty, supported
by a full medical team.
MedExpress Urgent Care employs more than 400 people in
Pennsylvania and last year treated more than 300,000 people in the
state. MedExpress recently began offering $20 sports, school and
camp physicals.
"We look forward to bringing timely, affordable, high-quality
urgent care to the people of Butler," said MedExpress CEO Frank
Alderman, MD. "Commitment to the patient experience will always be
our top priority. At MedExpress, we are dedicated to delivering
great care, fast to communities throughout western
Pennsylvania."
In addition to the new location, MedExpress operates centers in
Belle Vernon, Bloomfield, Center Township, Greenburg, Mars,
Monroeville, Moon Township, North Huntingdon, O'Hara Township,
Pleasant Hills, Scott Township, Ross Township, Tarentum, Uniontown,
Upper St. Clair, and Washington. Several additional centers are
planned for 2010.
