MedExpress opens second urgent care center in Bridgeport
December 14 2011
MedExpress Urgent Care, West Virginia's patient-centered urgent
care provider, opened its newest center today at 120 Medical Park
Drive in Bridgeport. This marks the second center for
MedExpress in Bridgeport; the first of which is converting from
Medbrook to MedExpress. With the opening of its new
Bridgeport location, MedExpress operates 13 centers throughout West
Virginia and 72 nationwide.
MedExpress is a full-service, walk-in urgent care center,
offering treatment for everyday illness and injury to people of all
ages. There is always a physician on site, supported by a full
medical team. MedExpress is dedicated to providing patients with
the highest level of quality health care in a warm and welcoming
environment.
"We're thrilled to be expanding our services to provide care for
more patients in Harrison County," said MedExpress CEO, Frank
Alderman, MD. "We look forward to continuing to deliver
high-quality health care to every patient who comes through our
doors. That has been our mission for ten years and it will never
change."
MedExpress Urgent Care's dedication to its patients' well-being
extends beyond the in-center experience. "We recognize that
patients may need specialty care and follow-up," said Alderman. "By
coordinating care with other health care providers, our goal is to
provide our patients with convenience and serve as a portal of
entry, front door to the wide spectrum of healthcare in the
community."
Both Bridgeport MedExpress centers will be open Monday-Friday 7
a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5
p.m.
Several more centers are planned for 2012. MedExpress also
operates centers in Pennsylvania, Colorado and Florida.
