MedExpress Opens 25th Center in Pennsylvania
April 28 2011
MedExpress Urgent Care strengthened its position as
Pennsylvania's patient-centered urgent care provider today when it
opened its newest center in Millcreek Township.
MedExpress, which opened a center in Meadville last year,
employs more than 650 people in Pennsylvania and treated more than
400,000 people in the state. The Millcreek Township MedExpress, at
5039 Peach Street in Erie, will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven
days a week.
"At MedExpress, we are committed to exceeding patient
expectations every day," said MedExpress CEO Frank Alderman, MD.
"We do this by delivering timely, affordable, high-quality urgent
care at all of our centers. Our newest location allows us to bring
our services to Erie, and we look forward to offering great care to
the community."
MedExpress strives to coordinate care within the local medical
community in order to streamline entry, support best practices and
ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
"We recognize that patients may need specialty care and follow
up," said Dr. Alderman. "By coordinating care with other healthcare
providers, we know that we are doing what is best for our
patients."
