MedExpress celebrates 75th Center with opening in York
January 12 2012
MedExpress Urgent Care, Pennsylvania's patient-centered urgent
care provider, opened its 75th center today at 400 Loucks Road in
York. To celebrate the opening, MedExpress is offering free flu
shots, while supplies last, through January 18 to all patients who
visit the new center.
With the opening of the York center, MedExpress will operate 75
centers nationwide, with 41 centers throughout Pennsylvania.
MedExpress is a full-service, walk-in urgent care center,
offering treatment for everyday illness and injury to people of all
ages. There is always a physician on site, supported by a full
medical team. MedExpress is dedicated to providing patients with
the highest level of quality health care in a warm and welcoming
environment.
"Opening 75 centers nationwide is a proud moment for MedExpress
because it means we have been able to treat so many people; in 2011
alone we treated more than 1 million patients. We couldn't be more
excited to provide care for the community right here in York," said
MedExpress CEO, Frank Alderman, MD. "Our vision of providing great
care in a timely manner has always been a driving force for every
employee of MedExpress. That commitment is as strong with our
75th center as it was with our first."
MedExpress Urgent Care's dedication to its patients' well-being
extends beyond the in-center experience. MedExpress strives to
streamline care within its local medical communities, support best
practices and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
The York MedExpress will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven
days a week. Several more centers are planned for 2012. MedExpress
also operates centers in Colorado, Florida and West Virginia.
